  4. What about sonic cd? Is that piracy screen real?

  5. Most Anti Piracy are just Mario with Blood and Knife you know That Image? With the words no stealing

  6. When i pirated sonic adventure 2 sonic came out of my toaster and ate my dog, stay safe out there

  7. I have to disagree with people saying how the creepy Cuphead audio is the bad ending music. When you get the bad ending, the normal title song is merely reversed. The creepy audio in question, in addition to being reversed, also is pitched down, distorted and with weird noises. It's much worse than what you get in-game.

  8. Fun fact: the reversed version of the cup head song is real, and can be accessed after beating the game in the bad ending, and then entering the Konami code in the Menu after the title screen

  9. I know the cuphead one is fake because my friend pirated it and I watched him play

  10. One time i was playing half life and accidentally activated the anti piracy mode, then gordon freeman himself started sending headcrabs to my house whist screaming at me about how pirating games uses alien crystals and i started the 2nd ressodance cascade 😭😭😭😭

  11. creepy anti-piracy screens make you cry as a kid. just shapes and beats' anti-piracy screen makes you cry as an adult

  12. The Cuphead unused music is actually used, you just gotta put the Konami code in the settings menu

  13. You forgot the most infamous one: Sonic Gather Battle.

  14. One of my most favorite fake anti-piracy screens is from a canceled ARG called Super Mario 64 Beta Archive.

In the video, after the game is booted with Mario saying "It's a me!", A sound of you entering a pipe plays, before showing an image of Mario sitting on the N64 logo and looking sadly at his game cartridge.

Those types of fake anti-piracy screens, where they actually feel genuine, are the golden standard for me in my honest opinion.

  15. I think my friend once had a problem with Antipiracy screen for Donkey Kong on the snes and it popped up the antipiracy screen and then it called the police and he die, man the super nintendo can call the police? Thats cool

  16. 8:23 input the konami code on the title screen after getting the bad ending, only took idk how many years.

  17. The cuphead music was found, how? Get the bad ending, then go to the title screen.

  18. One time I used a Game Genie on Super Metroid and it triggered the anti-piracy screen. It also deleted all three of my save files.

  19. That’s not a jail Diddy is in, that’s a furnace

  20. Guys, so I pirated the Legend of Zelda Breath of the wild and then Link cut my Nintendo Switch with a sword and then poopedbin my sink! He then slapped me so hard I died, and then he told me not to pirate video games again and returned to the game! How ඩ

    (That means sus/weird)

  21. My favorite anti piracy screen is the Gmod one. It shows an error message that says “Unable to shade polygon normals” alongside the pirates steam ID. This was added by Garry Newman as a fake error message so that when people would complain about the message on the forums, Garry could tell Valve and get the pirate banned.

  22. I had a friend That tried to mod a pirated version of subnautica and got lead into a video from "you are a pirate" from lazy town. And i am pretty sure that i had after "legally" getting an Cuphead copy that weird song on first boot up but only on that one. But i was a stupid kid when that happened so it could be that i have it false in my memory

  23. i triggered the irl piracy screen when i was young. I walked into the house after a school day and i saw someone known as "fredrick frontillion fazbear" who absolutely mauled me, and after ALthat he stood above me like omni man.. Then jesus christ himself game said "oh fucka you, piracy is a serious crime!" and took irl away from me

the boss ai covers 1629 BC – 1619 BC

  24. Growing up I hated when other kids genuinely claimed to see something preposterous. insecure kids like that needed to keep that between them and their imaginary friend.

  25. When I was seven I was filling my snes with glue to see what happened unfortunately it exploded but for a split second beforehand I saw that screen I was burned all over the left half of my face

  26. Man, I guess I've been playing a lot of pirated games recently. Most of the features the developers advertised are disabled or not there. Sure enough, though, give it 6 months to a year after release, and I guess the hackers find the solution to clear the check sums because then those features become playable. The worst ones are some areas give me this mysterious message saying, "This mission is only accessible through DLC." This one scares the hell outta me.

  27. Ive tried out the Earthbound Anti-Piracy and damn, it was more difficult

  28. The cuphead piracy song is actually not a piracy measure if you just go up up down Down left right left right confirm and back you get the audio in the title screen there is a video on YouTube that explains it better

  29. 9:36 I do agree. but I remember when i was younger, i tried pirating a (sort of controversial now) game called yandere simulator. The game wouldn't update, it wouldn't let me do important things in the game, such as in "Nemesis" mode, you would be chases by your "nemesis" and you can hide from them and kill them. In the pirated version, the nemesis always knows where you are and will kill you. There are also other key factors of the game that are removed. It doesn't scare you, but it just reminds me of this because you can (almost) play the game normally, just removing things that make it a bit more annoying.

  30. I thought that file from Cuphead played on the title screen after you sided with the Devil, not if you pirated the game.

  31. The Vocal_666 file for Cuphead was actually used in game! I think it might have been after the whole anti-piracy thing went down, but I remember seeing a video by some guy with a mugman pfp where if you punch in the famous cheat code (you know which one, Konami ring a bell?) on the load screen (I think you have to get a 100% / the bad ending? iirc, of course) and that's when the music for the screen will fade and transition to the vocal file. I think it does play continuously, but iirc (again), it doesn't play for boss fights, and possibly after them when you are placed back in the overworld. Not that it was a pirated copy to my knowledge, I think the developers just put it into the game as a little joke, judging by the Konami code being the thing to activate it.

  32. Th Cuphead o; is fake but the song is not unused it is in the game as a Easter egg

  33. Funny how a couple of months ago, someone figured out how to trigger the reverse audio.

  34. I'm pretty sure, Nintendo games, especially those geared towards younger players, never had and never will contain antipiracy screens that jumpscare and traumatize the kid with extra creepypasta, because if this ever happens by a bug or a parent who bought some fake console and doesn't know any better, then they can very well take legal actions against Nintendo for harming their kid mentally, which is a sliiiightly much more grave crime than buying some pirated cartridge.

  35. What got me interesed in Antipiracy measure.. is… I was raised in a poor country and had no money so I used to buy those copied games for literally like 10% of the actual value.. I was lucky to be gifted a PS1 console and I had this problem with Spyro where it erased my save and put me back in newgame after final boss… i thought game was broken of console was untill I foundout someone was talking about it on youtube my mind was blown.

  36. This is just encouraging me to pirate 💀

  37. People always discuss the Game Dev Tycoon anti-piracy measure but a friend of mine had a pirated version of that game and never encountered this. He would play the game pretty often and enjoyed it a lot. It always interests me when I see it on lists because it doesn’t gel with the experience he had with it. Like I had no clue that anti-piracy feature existed until years after hearing about the game.

  38. Sonic Adventure DX had a really funny anti-piracy routine where, if triggered, every single BGM in the game (except the title screen) is replaced with the BGM of Windy Valley Area 1, which as anyone who's played the game knows, gets incredibly grating after a while. I don't think it's easy to trigger anymore, but videos of it do exist.

  39. In my experience a dusty cartridge can trigger it occasionally.

  40. I remember pirating Duke Nukem. He came out of the TV, slept with my dad, and pissed on my cat.

  41. I've illegally downloaded the 2D earth sandbox game "WorldBox", and there was no anti-piracy measures at all!

  42. I always find the anti piracy screen of Just Shapes and Beats amusing.

  43. I accidentally triggered a N64 anti piracy and Mario came out and proceeded to murder my entire family, break several of my bones and flip me off the entire time.

  44. You completely missed the settlers… How could you have missed the settlers?… the forge made pigs! 😬

  45. Fun fact! It is actually possible to trigger that cuphead sound effect. The way its done is: First go do the bad ending by offering your soul to the devil. This will make the title screen theme reversed but not reverb like the "piracy effect" after doing the bad ending, go into the title screen and punch in the Konami Code. This actualy makes that sound play. I'm geniuenly serious.

  46. SMT strange journey has my favorite anti piracy with how there are no random encounters
