The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 8-2 at PNC Park on September 9, 2022. SS Oneil Cruz drove in three runs and OF Ben Gamel homered in the win. The team was also wearing Pittsburgh Crawford uniforms to honor and celebrate Negro League Legacy Night.

This Pirates team does absolutely none of the small things right
Even though they won, this game showcased just how putrid the Pirates are. Literally from the first batter all the way to the end, littered with fielding errors, miscommunications, bobbles, gaffes, errant throws, running into each other, base running mistakes… Even a highlight reel was hard to watch 🤢🤢🤢
