  1. It's not a ripoff. This song existed way before Heroes 4. It's an old Celtic song.

  2. If you happen to have the pc version of the game, search in your program files/Bethesda folder for music. The complete soundtrack is there and can be played with Winamp. Have fun.

  3. So happy I still own this game.

  4. The original is not from heroes. Also look for Fuushun, this soundtrack was also used in an anime. Both 2 games and that anime were being developed at the same time, none stole the track from the other but bought it as a pre-recorded old melodic tune played on ancient instruments <- Paul Romero stated this. Then edited to fit their media, Paul Romero didn't know the origins of the song, and neither do i, but his version is not the original. He bought the melody and edited it like the other 2.

  5. it makes me feel at various mythological universes, around a campfire, drinking and looking some exotic girls dancing… traversing the sea… taverns…. adventures in a mystic world..

  6. It's not in Redmond and Osbay this music?

  7. After al those years i still love this song its a song of the past in my childhood
but also of the futere just love it it gives hope in the dark times.

  8. This music sounds almost exactly like the Water or Sea music from Heroes of might and magic 4. What is the real title of this song? Or did they just use this song for this game from Heroes 4? By Paul Romero and some others.

  9. This song was also featured in Juuni Kokki (12 Kingdoms). I checked release dates and found that Heroes of Might and Magic IV was also produced in 2002.
Though I find this, Pirates of Carribean, version to have more of a relaxing and fun tavern feel to it the 12 Kingdoms version feels cleaner and a bit more "powerful".

  11. Also featured on superships: american queen

  12. two pints of lager and a packet of crisps anyone? xD

  13. This theme is so cool. The accordion gives me a lot of peace of mind. I loved this game as a kid but never got much far playing it. Still, it seemed so huge back then. Thank you for the upload.

  14. GOF aproved and used this for Age of Pirates 2, check my channel for the same music but GOF version… Almost no difference by the way.

  15. oh yes i remember this song, and this game… and it's a bethesda game! that explains why it was such a good old game too, but i'm trying to find gameplay videos of it or possibly some way of playing it myself again, i have fond memories of it, sailing the ship and raiding coastal fortresses with my crew and then hunting some cursed treasure with my lady… or something like that it was over a decade ago come on gimme a break :p great game tho!

  16. Ahoy lads! Just listening to this song makes me remember all the glorious fights, loots and sea battles I made in this game. Who's with me?

  17. the original is not from the HOM&M4,actually nobody knows where did the original came from cause this music is probably more tham 500 years old, perhaps more…….

  18. and yeah the 12 kingdoms version beats all of them cause it is clear, strong, powerful, cheerful & it has a thin chinese type of music to it which makes your body dance to the beat……….

  19. Re-master this game please ๐Ÿ™

  20. I was looking for it, thanks for sharing

  21. Might be thinking of another song, but I've been playing a playlist with this song on it. For the months I've stuck to this playlist, it's the first I've heard of this; I recall it was some restriction but glad to hear a pretty great song. Helps mix up the playlist too!

  22. Alright Guvnor, come in for a wee bit of the old tum thumb ay? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Loved this game so much… My childhood and teenage years in one.

  23. Best ship battles of every game ever created. AC 4 ships just went a tad bit too fast, otherwise I would have liked it more.

  24. "Wanna know the secret to a good spot 'o grub? A pinch 'o gunpowder!"

  25. I thought the original was from Juuni Kokuki

  26. The version in Heroes of Might and Magic IV is not the original version.

  27. A Masterpiece of Game-development/desing ! absoloutly brilliant gameplay and felling … Played this Game when i was 12 Years ! Childhood ! Now i'm 28 … huuuch !

  28. I prefer the HoMM4 version, but this is nice, thanks. Certainly would've been pleasant to find this music in-game, had I played it. Never been one for movie-based games. The one time I really wanted to play one (Battle for Middle Earth), I never got the chance.
