  1. So is this an online game only or is there and single player story that's doesn't need u to play online?

  2. The ship combat looks fun, even though it was directly ripped from a game that released nearly a decade ago. What really disappoints me is the boarding action. What's the point of boarding at all if all you get is a cobbled together cutscene? All in all it looks like everything I feared it would be, live service and all.

  3. Idk Seems too fantasy for me. the ships sail fast as hell, too many explosions even ramming a ship you see explosions and the ships sink to quick. 🤷‍♂️

  4. I hope they'll make the HP bars more minimalistic or invisible altogether. UI like this sucks and just takes away from the immersion.

  5. This must be predatory, but sadly I'll still play it 😢

  6. This gameplay is ancient and honestly probably nothing like what we'll get for release

  7. They're still going with the stupid rams from Black Flag, I see…

  8. It looks like a world of warship version, but from the time of the pirates, sea of thieves is a better game than this one, because it has its own mechanics

  9. It's basicly the samething of assassin's creed 4 black flag.

  10. All this development time and they still didnt make something that looks even remotely like something any blackflag player wanted. Just bland multiplayer garbage with cutscene boarding and generic points for loot.

    Absolute dog shite

  11. If this is purely PvP, I have no interest.

  12. We still need a really good open world Pirate game. Sea of Thieves fills more of the fantastical side of pirates, and Black Flag splits its focus between pirates, assassins, and real world crap that no one cares about. We would still need some fantastical and mystery elements though.

  13. Doesn't feel like an online game, rather disappointed with the gameplay. Looks like there isn't much to do in the game due to the restriction that we are playing as the "boat"
Also based on the commentary it sounds like another queue based game and not an open world exploration game –> since the focus is on Pirates it will for sure be compared with Sea of Thieves

So sad that boarding is a cutscene 🙁 this game I will skip or it has to be on gamepass xD

  14. We could use a real good pirate gane.. the boats are pretty cool but how much can you really do with just ships alone
